Core Knowledge brings history to life.
Strong Foundations offers physical education, music, and art to all students. Group instrument lessons, Band, and Chorus, are optional classes offered to grades 4-8. Technology and Health are offered to grades 7-8. Students may take online courses through VLACS in particular areas of interest.
Enrichment every Friday is a time for students to nurture their gifts and talents and engage in self-directed learning with teachers facilitating the process. Inspired by Renzulli's work with Gifted and Talented programs, students choose a new Enrichment block every quarter and work with their group to identify their learning goals, plan the process, and create a product for an authentic audience.
